EcoPulse Alliance is a social impact initiative born from a deep-seated passion for research, art, and youth mentorship in eastern Africa. We are dedicated to conserving the stories of eastern African ecosystems through ecosystem-based adaptation. Our mission is to cultivate a generation of environmentally conscious and empowered youth across 10 diverse ecosystems in eastern Africa. By weaving together education, art, and conservation, we aim to equip over 1,500 students in select rural primary schools with enhanced knowledge, critical thinking skills, and practical experience in conservation and sustainable development. EcoPulse Alliance sprung from the realization that art could powerfully communicate the critical importance of conservation and leadership to youth. Through our innovative programs, we foster leadership empowerment among young minds, nurturing a symbiotic relationship between humanity and the natural world. Join us in our journey to conserve not just ecosystems, but the rich tapestry of stories they hold, ensuring a sustainable future for generations to come.

Our Team:

EcoPulse Alliance is led by a group of experts committed to conservation and education in eastern Africa. Dr. Ruth Oriama, Founder and Creative Lead is an Applied Economist and Governance Specialist. Dr. Viola Kosgei, Co-Founder and Creative Lead is a Biochemist passionate about mentoring youth. Kennedy Langatt, Lead Coordinator, brings experience in trade and conservation. Evariste Niyonsaba, Country Coordinator for Burundi, is an Assistant Lecturer focused on agriculture, education, and human rights. Dr Ludovicus Okitoi is the patron and consultant on Agriculture and Botany. Chris Jakait is the coordinator Kapina. Emma Aduro is the Administration and Communications Officer.
